This term at International School 33, our kindergartners are focusing on nature. In English class, we have enjoyed exploring various types of plants and their growth process. We have searched the outdoor areas to identify different flowers, trees, and insects and discussed the requirements for plant growth and survival. This has helped the students understand how to take care of nature and care for plants.
Now that we have gained a lot of knowledge about plants, it is time to put this knowledge into practice. Therefore, we have planted our own classroom plants that we regularly water and bring outside during recess when the sun is shining. The students are highly engaged in plant care.
We are eagerly looking forward to watching them grow before the holidays!

Our students have done a fantastic job taking responsibility for their environment and plants at such a young age. Bringing nature into the classroom has been inspiring.
