This policy describes how International School 33 (hereinafter referred to as «IS33» or «the School») collects and processes personal data in the context of its school activities and the use of its website.

It supplements the information contained in the General regulations - 2025-2026 school year signed by the families.


1. Who is responsible for processing?

2. What data is collected and for what purposes?

2.1. Data collected via the website

Through the forms available on the site (contact, information request, admission requests, appointment booking, etc.), IS33 collects in particular :

  • from identification data surname, first name ;

  • from contact details e-mail address, telephone number ;

  • from education data The following information is provided: level or class required, campus requested, information about the pupil's educational background, according to the fields in the forms; ;

  • the content of messages sent via forms.

Required fields are indicated on the forms. If you do not provide this information, IS33 may not be able to respond to your request.

The site also uses cookies and other tracers, as indicated in the information banner displayed when you visit the site (to improve navigation and monitor traffic). International School 33


2.2. Data collected for school life and communication

In accordance with the General Regulations :

  • The parents' e-mail addresses are used to ensure regular communication between the families whose children are enrolled and the school. In the event of departure, these emails are no longer used by the Establishment.

  • Communication between parents and teachers takes place via the Toddle© platform and by e-mail.


2.3 Images and videos (website, blog, social networks)

IS33 collects and uses images and videos students and staff in order to :

  • promote the school's activities,

  • share school events,

  • offer regular information and memories that families can consult.

This content may be published on :

  • the website (international-school33.com),

  • the social networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.),

  • the blog of the establishment,

  • certain videos hosted on the YouTube channel school.

This treatment is based on explicit consent from parents/legal guardians in the case of under-age pupils, or from pupils of full age, using the form attached to the General Regulations.


2.4. Data processed via the Toddle© platform

International School 33 uses the Toddle to plan, assess and monitor student progress. All students are automatically registered on Toddle, which is the main tool for :

  • planning and evaluation,

  • monitoring homework and school reports,

  • educational communication with families.

The following data may be processed in this context:

  • student's name,

  • e-mail address of the pupil and/or parent,

  • photos/videos of classroom activities,

  • written work and homework,

  • comments and feedback from students,

  • grouped learning data (class diary, portfolio, teaching plans, messages).

IS33 applies a opt-out policy :

  • students aged 13 years and over can give their consent themselves; ;

  • students from Under 13s must obtain permission from their parent or guardian.

Parents who do not wish to posting photos/videos on Toddle must notify the secretariat and are informed that their child may not be able to take part in certain events.

2.5. Video surveillance

IS33 has installed a video surveillance for :

  • prevent intrusions,

  • prevent theft,

  • ensure the safety of people on the premises.

The cameras are positioned only in traffic areas (corridors, entrances, exits, etc.) and are not installed in classrooms, offices or private areas.

The recordings are kept on a private server for a maximum period of 15 days, except in the event of an incident requiring a longer retention period for legal reasons.

La management of the establishment is responsible for this processing and its compliance with the RGPD.


3. For what purposes is your data used?

Personal data is processed in particular for the following purposes

  • Requests management via the website :

    • responses to requests for information, contact or appointments,

    • managing admission requests.

  • School management :

    • pedagogical monitoring via Toddle (homework, reports, portfolios),

    • organisation of school life,

    • communication with parents.

  • Communication and school life :

    • disseminating information about school activities and events,

    • publishing content (website, blog, social networks, YouTube).

  • Safety of people and property :

    • video surveillance of access and circulation areas within the establishment.

IS33 undertakes not to transmit or exchange the personal data (e-mails) outside the framework of the Establishment.


4. Legal basis for processing

The processing carried out by IS33 is based in particular on :

  • l’execution of the contract or pre-contractual measures with families (management of enrolment files, schooling, communication linked to school life); ;

  • the consent :

    • for taking and distributing photos/videos on the website, blog, social networks and YouTube,

    • for the use of Toddle by students under 13 (parental authorisation required) and for certain functions involving images; ;

  • the safety requirements video surveillance system designed to protect people and property on the premises.


5. How long will your data be kept?

Retention periods are adapted to the purposes for which the data is stored and, where applicable, to legal requirements. In particular:

  • Images and videos for the website, social networks and blog:
    kept for a period of minimum of 5 years from the date of publication.

  • Video surveillance recordings :
    retained for a maximum period of 15 days, Unless there is an incident justifying a longer storage period.

  • Parents' e-mails :
    are used for communication purposes for as long as the student is enrolled at the school; if the student leaves, the emails are no longer used.

For other categories of data (contact requests, admission files, educational data), the data is kept for the time required to manage the request or schooling, and then, where applicable, in accordance with the legal obligations applicable to the school.


6. Who has access to your data (recipients)

Your data is mainly used for :

  • at in-house teams International School 33 (management, administration, teaching and support staff) within the scope of their responsibilities; ;

  • at technical service providers acting on behalf of the Establishment, in particular :

    • the platform Toddle, for educational management and communication between schools and families; ;

IS33 says it does not transmit or exchange personal data (e-mails) outside the framework of the Establishment.

The service providers (including Toddle and Hostinger) act as subcontractors, in compliance with the RGPD and their own privacy policies.


7. Cookies and tracers

With regard to minors, All rights are exercised by the holders of parental authority, in accordance with the school's general regulations.

For the video surveillance, In accordance with the law, any person filmed has the right to access the recordings made of them, subject to the legal conditions.
