Does my child need to speak English to enrol?

No, it's not compulsory. Our international bilingual school in Bordeaux (Gradignan) welcomes students of all language levels, whether beginners, French-speaking, or already English-speaking. English immersion is gradual and structured from kindergarten, enabling each child to build confidence and develop their skills at their own pace. Tailored groups are set up throughout primary school to support students in the natural acquisition of the language.

From middle school onward,students can choose to take more subjects taught in English, depending on their level and language proficiency.

How does the admissions process work?

The admissions process at International School 33 is designed to ensure a perfect match between your family project and our bilingual and international educational environment. It begins with an initial personalized exchange with the Admissions team to understand your expectations and your child’s background. A meeting with the school leadership is then arranged, followed by a classroom immersion during the school day in Gradignan, on the outskirts of Bordeaux.

Admissions are open throughout the school year, subject to availability. Families receive a prompt response so they can prepare for enrollment with peace of mind.

Do you offer visits or open days?

We prioritize personalized visits by appointment rather than traditional open days. This approach allows families to discover our international bilingual school in Bordeaux in real conditions, during the school day. During this visit in Gradignan, you will be able to observe classes in action, meet the teaching team, and speak with the leadership about the bilingual program and the IB pathway.
