Background<\/h2><p data-start=\"334\" data-end=\"442\">International School 33 collects and uses images and videos of students and staff in order to :<\/p><ul data-start=\"444\" data-end=\"640\"><li data-start=\"444\" data-end=\"492\"><p data-start=\"446\" data-end=\"492\">promote the school's activities,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"493\" data-end=\"550\"><p data-start=\"495\" data-end=\"550\">share key events in school life,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"551\" data-end=\"640\"><p data-start=\"553\" data-end=\"640\">offer regular information and memories that families can consult.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"642\" data-end=\"952\">The processing of these images and videos is based on the <strong data-start=\"694\" data-end=\"720\">explicit consent<\/strong> parents or legal guardians of pupils under the age of majority, or directly from pupils who have reached the age of majority. This consent is obtained using the forms attached to the school's general regulations, which parents must consult, complete and sign.<\/p><hr data-start=\"954\" data-end=\"957\" \/><h2 data-start=\"959\" data-end=\"996\">2. Distribution media concerned<\/h2><p data-start=\"998\" data-end=\"1082\">Content (photos and videos) can be used on the following media:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1084\" data-end=\"1406\"><li data-start=\"1084\" data-end=\"1157\"><p data-start=\"1086\" data-end=\"1157\">the <strong data-start=\"1089\" data-end=\"1106\">website<\/strong> (international-school33.com),<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1158\" data-end=\"1185\"><p data-start=\"1160\" data-end=\"1185\">the <strong data-start=\"1163\" data-end=\"1171\">blog<\/strong> school,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1186\" data-end=\"1275\"><p data-start=\"1188\" data-end=\"1275\">the <strong data-start=\"1192\" data-end=\"1211\">social networks<\/strong> (including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn),<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1276\" data-end=\"1358\"><p data-start=\"1278\" data-end=\"1358\">certain video content hosted on the <strong data-start=\"1318\" data-end=\"1336\">YouTube channel<\/strong> of the establishment,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1359\" data-end=\"1406\"><p data-start=\"1361\" data-end=\"1406\">the <strong data-start=\"1365\" data-end=\"1392\">documents and prospectuses<\/strong> school.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"1408\" data-end=\"1411\" \/><h2 data-start=\"1413\" data-end=\"1446\">3. Choices for families<\/h2><p data-start=\"1448\" data-end=\"1627\">At the end of the general regulations, a form allows parents to specify their choice concerning the use of their child(ren)'s image. In particular, parents can :<\/p><ul data-start=\"1629\" data-end=\"1956\"><li data-start=\"1629\" data-end=\"1828\"><p data-start=\"1631\" data-end=\"1728\"><strong data-start=\"1631\" data-end=\"1644\">Authorise<\/strong> International School 33 to publish photos and videos of their child(ren) on :<\/p><ul data-start=\"1731\" data-end=\"1828\"><li data-start=\"1731\" data-end=\"1774\"><p data-start=\"1733\" data-end=\"1774\">school documents and brochures,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1777\" data-end=\"1828\"><p data-start=\"1779\" data-end=\"1828\">the school's website and blog,<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li data-start=\"1829\" data-end=\"1956\"><p data-start=\"1831\" data-end=\"1845\">and select :<\/p><ul data-start=\"1848\" data-end=\"1956\"><li data-start=\"1848\" data-end=\"1900\"><p data-start=\"1850\" data-end=\"1900\">a publication <strong data-start=\"1871\" data-end=\"1897\">without first name<\/strong>,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1903\" data-end=\"1956\"><p data-start=\"1905\" data-end=\"1956\">a publication <strong data-start=\"1926\" data-end=\"1952\">with first name<\/strong> ;<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1958\" data-end=\"1969\">or :<\/p><ul data-start=\"1971\" data-end=\"2110\"><li data-start=\"1971\" data-end=\"2110\"><p data-start=\"1973\" data-end=\"2110\"><strong data-start=\"1973\" data-end=\"1993\">Do not authorise<\/strong> International School 33 to publish photos of their child(ren) on its documents, brochures and websites.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2112\" data-end=\"2283\">The parents make their choice by ticking the appropriate box, crossing out any that do not apply and signing the document.<\/p><hr data-start=\"2285\" data-end=\"2288\" \/><h2 data-start=\"2290\" data-end=\"2328\">4. Image retention period<\/h2><p data-start=\"2330\" data-end=\"2560\">The images and videos collected by the establishment are kept for a period of <strong data-start=\"2413\" data-end=\"2434\">minimum of 5 years<\/strong> from the date of publication. This period is intended to ensure continuity in the school's communications.<\/p><p data-start=\"2562\" data-end=\"2781\">Parents or other persons concerned may request the <strong data-start=\"2622\" data-end=\"2633\">withdrawal<\/strong> images or videos before the expiry of this period. The school reserves the right to assess each request <strong data-start=\"2740\" data-end=\"2758\">on a case-by-case basis<\/strong>, taking into account :<\/p><ul data-start=\"2783\" data-end=\"2902\"><li data-start=\"2783\" data-end=\"2811\"><p data-start=\"2785\" data-end=\"2811\">legal obligations,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2812\" data-end=\"2864\"><p data-start=\"2814\" data-end=\"2864\">the school's communication needs,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2865\" data-end=\"2902\"><p data-start=\"2867\" data-end=\"2902\">and the legitimate interests at stake.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2904\" data-end=\"2992\">All requests must be made <strong data-start=\"2937\" data-end=\"2950\">in writing<\/strong> and sent to the school management.<\/p><hr data-start=\"2994\" data-end=\"2997\" \/><h2 data-start=\"2999\" data-end=\"3040\">5. Individuals' rights to their image<\/h2><p data-start=\"3042\" data-end=\"3152\">The persons concerned by this image processing have the following rights, in accordance with the RGPD:<\/p><ul data-start=\"3154\" data-end=\"3305\"><li data-start=\"3154\" data-end=\"3195\"><p data-start=\"3156\" data-end=\"3195\">right to <strong data-start=\"3165\" data-end=\"3176\">withdrawal<\/strong> consent,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3196\" data-end=\"3245\"><p data-start=\"3198\" data-end=\"3245\">right to\u2019<strong data-start=\"3206\" data-end=\"3215\">access<\/strong> to data concerning them,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3246\" data-end=\"3277\"><p data-start=\"3248\" data-end=\"3277\">right to <strong data-start=\"3257\" data-end=\"3274\">correction<\/strong>,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3278\" data-end=\"3305\"><p data-start=\"3280\" data-end=\"3305\">right to\u2019<strong data-start=\"3288\" data-end=\"3302\">deletion<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"3307\" data-end=\"3417\">Requests relating to these rights should be addressed to <strong data-start=\"3366\" data-end=\"3413\">in writing to the school management<\/strong>.<\/p><hr data-start=\"3419\" data-end=\"3422\" \/><h2 data-start=\"3424\" data-end=\"3466\">6. Image rights and the Toddle platform<\/h2><p data-start=\"3468\" data-end=\"3626\">The school uses the <strong data-start=\"3498\" data-end=\"3508\">Toddle<\/strong> to plan, assess and monitor student progress. In this context, the platform can be used in particular for :<\/p><ul data-start=\"3628\" data-end=\"3802\"><li data-start=\"3628\" data-end=\"3650\"><p data-start=\"3630\" data-end=\"3650\">the student's name,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3651\" data-end=\"3701\"><p data-start=\"3653\" data-end=\"3701\">the e-mail address of the student and\/or parents,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3702\" data-end=\"3753\"><p data-start=\"3704\" data-end=\"3753\">from <strong data-start=\"3708\" data-end=\"3750\">photos and videos of classroom activities<\/strong>,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3754\" data-end=\"3802\"><p data-start=\"3756\" data-end=\"3802\">written work, homework and comments.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"3804\" data-end=\"4102\">All pupils are automatically registered on Toddle, which is the main tool used by the school for planning and assessment. Pupils' accounts remain active while they are at school; when they leave, the relevant information is sent to their parents.<\/p><p data-start=\"4104\" data-end=\"4187\">International School 33 applies a <strong data-start=\"4141\" data-end=\"4182\">opt-out policy<\/strong> :<\/p><ul data-start=\"4189\" data-end=\"4364\"><li data-start=\"4189\" data-end=\"4269\"><p data-start=\"4191\" data-end=\"4269\">students from <strong data-start=\"4205\" data-end=\"4223\">13 years and over<\/strong> can give their consent themselves,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"4270\" data-end=\"4364\"><p data-start=\"4272\" data-end=\"4364\">students from <strong data-start=\"4286\" data-end=\"4305\">Under 13s<\/strong> must obtain permission from their parent or guardian.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"4366\" data-end=\"4644\">Parents who <strong data-start=\"4382\" data-end=\"4436\">do not wish to distribute photos and videos<\/strong> of their child on Toddle must inform the <strong data-start=\"4486\" data-end=\"4501\">secretariat<\/strong>. They are informed that, in this case, their child will <strong data-start=\"4551\" data-end=\"4601\">may not take part in certain events<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"4646\" data-end=\"4840\">A specific authorisation is also provided for <strong data-start=\"4704\" data-end=\"4724\">group photos<\/strong> shared on Toddle, for which parents can choose whether or not to authorise their child's inclusion.<\/p><hr data-start=\"4842\" data-end=\"4845\" \/><h2 data-start=\"4847\" data-end=\"4892\">7.
