Our middle school students take action for the “restos du coeur”

For several months, some of our middle school students have been researching active charity associations in the Bordeaux community.

This is how they decided to contribute to the cause of “les restaurants du Coeur”.

First, they met a volunteer from “les restaurants du Coeur” of Pessac, who presented the different missions of the association.

It was then that our students decided to organize a fund raiser, counting on the generosity of those around them, school families, and intermarche consumers.

They collected two shopping carts filled with food, hygiene products etc.

Then they went to hand them over to the “restaurant du Coeur” of Pessac, and made an appointment to come back to help the volunteers and meet the beneficiaries.

At International School 33, we believe it is vital to encourage our students to take action, and show them how they can contribute to making the world a better place.
