IS 33 is pleased to announce an excellent start to the year for Secondary School students with the 2022-2023 school year marking our successful DP accreditation.  Our first group of students have advanced to their final two years of the IB program, and our first half-term has been busy!

Students have chosen their courses – ranging from Physics to Literature to Film studies – and work is well under way.  TOK, Extended Essay and Community Action Service work has begun, and all of our students are settled in and making progress.

Also underway is planning for our trip to Canada in the spring. 10 students in DP and MYP 5 (1ere, 2nde) are in the process of researching post-secondary options at prestigious Canadian Universities.  In April, they will travel to Quebec for 15 days to visit these universities on private tours catered especially towards our students, offering all of them the opportunity to experience first-hand the study options available to them in Canada. Students are participating directly in the organisation of the trip, from activity-planning to fund-raising.

Congratulations on a successful half-term, everyone – from all staff, we wish students and parents a well-deserved fall break.
