In accordance with its general regulations, International School 33 (IS33) governs the use of photographs and videos of students and staff, as well as the rights of families to these images.
International School 33 collects and uses images and videos of students and staff in order to :
promote the school's activities,
share key events in school life,
offer regular information and memories that families can consult.
The processing of these images and videos is based on the explicit consent parents or legal guardians of pupils under the age of majority, or directly from pupils who have reached the age of majority. This consent is obtained using the forms attached to the school's general regulations, which parents must consult, complete and sign.
Content (photos and videos) can be used on the following media:
the website (international-school33.com),
the blog school,
the social networks (including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn),
certain video content hosted on the YouTube channel of the establishment,
the documents and prospectuses school.
At the end of the general regulations, a form allows parents to specify their choice concerning the use of their child(ren)'s image. In particular, parents can :
Authorise International School 33 to publish photos and videos of their child(ren) on :
school documents and brochures,
the school's website and blog,
and select :
a publication without first name,
a publication with first name ;
or :
Do not authorise International School 33 to publish photos of their child(ren) on its documents, brochures and websites.
The parents make their choice by ticking the appropriate box, crossing out any that do not apply and signing the document.
The images and videos collected by the establishment are kept for a period of minimum of 5 years from the date of publication. This period is intended to ensure continuity in the school's communications.
Parents or other persons concerned may request the withdrawal images or videos before the expiry of this period. The school reserves the right to assess each request on a case-by-case basis, taking into account :
legal obligations,
the school's communication needs,
and the legitimate interests at stake.
All requests must be made in writing and sent to the school management.
The persons concerned by this image processing have the following rights, in accordance with the RGPD:
right to withdrawal consent,
right to’access to data concerning them,
right to correction,
right to’deletion.
Requests relating to these rights should be addressed to in writing to the school management.
The school uses the Toddle to plan, assess and monitor student progress. In this context, the platform can be used in particular for :
the student's name,
the e-mail address of the student and/or parents,
from photos and videos of classroom activities,
written work, homework and comments.
All pupils are automatically registered on Toddle, which is the main tool used by the school for planning and assessment. Pupils' accounts remain active while they are at school; when they leave, the relevant information is sent to their parents.
International School 33 applies a opt-out policy :
students from 13 years and over can give their consent themselves,
students from Under 13s must obtain permission from their parent or guardian.
Parents who do not wish to distribute photos and videos of their child on Toddle must inform the secretariat. They are informed that, in this case, their child will may not take part in certain events.
A specific authorisation is also provided for group photos shared on Toddle, for which parents can choose whether or not to authorise their child's inclusion.
