As of Septembrer 1, 2022, all of our students are back at International School 33, much to our and their delight. This year we welcomed 180 students from all over the world, from Kindergarten to High School.

The Kindergarten students are divided this year into two classes, the Pandas on one side and the Koalas on the other. They will be accompanied throughout the year by two teachers, one French and one English, which will allow them to learn English and French, every day is organized in to half-day, immersion lessons. Our teachers teach in their mother tongue in classes. Thanks to the specific material in our classes developed by Maria Montessori, the children acquire a lot of knowledge while being happy to go to school.

The Elementary students are just as happy to return to the school for another school year with us.

The Primary Years Programme (PYP) is a cross-curricular educational framework, covering a range of topics that provide children with authentic learning experiences. Pupils are given the opportunity to reflect on the importance of their learning in order to take meaningful action in their community and the wider world.

Middle and High school students are also ready for the new school year. The pupils in troisième are already very motivated to prepare for the diplôme national du brevet, those in seconde for the International Baccalaureate Intermediate Curriculum Examination, and the International Baccalaureate exams await our lycéens at the end of the school year. The International Baccalaureate is an exam that will allow them to choose their path and, if they wish, to access the most prestigious foreign schools and universities.

The new year also means new things! We have been able to welcome three new little animals to the school, a rabbit named Noisette and two guinea pigs, named Tic and Tac. The children enjoy every moment spent with them and are very happy to cuddle them. It also allows them to become closer to these living creatures and to understand their needs.

The children were able to rediscover the joy of participating in their favourite school activities after their school day. They were able to choose from a wide range of activities such as tennis, drama, gym, hip-hop, robotics, baby gym, musical theatre, violin, computer programming, chess and piano. This allows students to have fun, interact with their peers, discover interests and talents and develop self-confidence.

We look forward to another year of wonderful times together.
