Our 2 children, aged 8 and 10, are starting their fourth year at IS33. Every morning, they are happy to go to school and don't dread the start of the new school year when they return from their holidays. They have kept the same friends and know the entire teaching team inside out.

4 years ago, when our two children were still in state education, they had a really hard time at school. Our 4-year-old daughter cried a lot and our 6-year-old son didn't want to go to school any more, he hardly slept at night. In just 15 days at IS 33, their behaviour has totally changed.

Today, my son, who was a very shy child, has learnt to express himself with ease in public and has regained his self-confidence. My daughter is happy, enthusiastic and is now very comfortable in English.

I taught in a state nursery school myself for over 13 years. Every morning when I drop my children off at IS 33 and enter the building, I'm struck by the peaceful atmosphere that reigns in the corridors.
